Fantastic prizes to be won including a camera!

1. The Shrewsbury Photomarathon is an entirely digital event. You can take part with a digital camera or mobile phone. You must provide your own memory card, which must be empty of images at the beginning of the day. This will be checked by a member of the photomarathon team at registration on the day of the event.

2. You must capture 8 images on 8 given topics, in the same order that the topics appear on the list given to you. Images must be in the order the items are listed in on the topics list; i.e. this means that topic 1 is first on the memory card, followed by topic 2, 3, 4 etc.

3. All photographs must be taken during the Shrewsbury Photomarathon on Saturday July the 30th between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm.

4. All images must be taken on the same camera and must be shot in JPEG file format.

5. The copyright in a photograph belongs to the person who took it:

Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 - the only exception being employed photographers, where it is his or her employer who owns the copyright unless they have a contractual agreement to the contrary. In entering this event you     are agreeing to give indefinite permission of use of any photographs submitted to the Woodford Foundation for Publication, PR and Promotion.

6. All photos taken must be free of editing or manipulation of any kind.

7. Only memory cards with 8 images on them will be eligible for downloading. You are not permitted to have more than 8 images on your card at the end of the day.

8. You must collect the topics at the allotted times, in person, from the Photomarathon HQ.

9. To cross the finish line and receive your certificate of completion, you must return your memory card for downloading by the 17.30pm deadline.

10. The Photomarathon HQ will be downloading completed entries at 13.30 and 17.30 for the judges to decide the winners of each and present the prizes at 18.00.

11. Woodford is not responsible for any injury or damaged caused on or off the Photomarathon HQ on the day of the Photomarathon.

12. All photo’s taken must be done so with permission from any persons in the photographs taken. This remains the responsibility of participants and not of Woodford
